Mobile computing actually includes any device which can be used while you are on-the-go.  This includes netbooks, but far more of us have smartphones at this time.

Almost everyone has a smartphone (iPhone, Blackberry, PalmPre, and others), but are you using it just as a phone?  And maybe email? Consider it a mini-computer which can store your calendar and even alarm when it's time for an appointment.  It can hold your names, addresses, phone numbers of your customers and prospects - even notes about them which you need to review before the meeting.  You can even have Excel workbooks on it - how convenient is that?

Reduce or eliminate all the paperwork - use your smartphone instead of printing calendars or customer addresses.

Your smartphone has apps - little programs which perform needed or nice functions - like GPS, games, even an e-book reader so you can catch up on industry magazines while waiting at the airport.

We'll show you how to get the most from your smartphone - -consider it a netbook or laptop but smaller and it powers up faster.

Which smartphone is available for you?  It depends on your cellular carrier:

AT&T

Verizon

T-Mobile
